Motorola has announced the launch of the new 3rd generation Moto G and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. It is available in two versions, priced at Rs 11,999 for 8 GB storage/1GB RAM and Rs 12,999 for 16GB storage/2GB RAM. OnePlus 2 Launched For Rs 24,999 (USD $389)

Chinese smartphone company OnePlus launched its flagship model OnePlus 2 in China today. The launch was also streamed worldwide via its first VR Launch. The smartphone will be available in India, USA, Canada, Europe and China from August 11 and you will need an invite to get one. Here is how you get one.

The OnePlus 2 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixel) display screen with 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 64 bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The flagship device has a 64GB in-built memory. It also has a fingerprint sensor which can store up to 5 prints. 

The OnePlus 2 will have 4G Nano sim cards, as well as USB Type-C connectivity. The OnePlus 2 sports a 13 Megapixel rear camera with a 1.3 micron sensor, laser autofocus with dual LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front facing camera. Micromax has announced to have sold more than half a million Canvas Spark smartphones in less than 2.5 months, earning a revenue of Rs 2.5 billion. The company will also have its first ever open sale for the smartphone on July 27 & July 28, 2015 on Snapdeal.com.

Launched on April 29, 2015, the company had sold more than 20,000 smartphones in less than two minutes in its very first flash sale exclusively on Snapdeal.com.

OPPO Signs 3 Year Contract With FC Barcelona

After rigorous negotiations, OPPO finally inked a three-year deal with Spanish soccer team FC Barcelona. Mi India Launches Mi 4i 32GB Variant

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi, on ocassion of its first anniversary in India has launched the 32gb variant of Mi 4i. In the past one year it has become the fifth-largest smartphone vendor in the country in terms of market share. Videocon Telecom Offers 1GB Free Data To Female Subscribers

Videocon Telecom has announced 1GB free Data to all its female subscribers. Under this initiative, the company will be providing 1GB free data that will be extended as 100MB per month for 10 months for all female subscribers. Intex Associates With Jolla, Becomes 1st Sailfish OS licensing Partners from India

Intex Technologies has announced its association with Jolla for incorporating the sailfish OS in their portfolio. The second largest smartphone maker of Indian origin, with a market share of 10.5% plans to announce sailfish based products later in the year, working towards offering more choices in the Indian Mobile ecosystem.

The aim for Sailfish India is to develop a unique Indian mobile ecosystem, which will lead to greater differentiation in the market meaning more choices for consumers and higher user satisfaction.

HTC Launches The HTC Desire 820G+ Dual Sim For Rs 19,990

HTC has announced the launch of the new HTC Desire 820G+ dual sim for Rs 19,990. The 820G+ has a 13.97cm (5.5-inch) 720p HD display screen and sports 8 megapixel front facing and 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 (clocked at 1.7GHz) and 1GB RAM. The phone has 16GB inbuilt memory and is expandable to 32GB via microsd card.

The HTC Desire 820G+ dual sim also features HTC’s signature BoomSound front facing speakers. The HTC Desire 820G+dual sim also offers real time Live Makeup, allowing you to preview the image and set the desired level of skin smoothing before capturing.

Stanadyne Launches EcoForce in India

Stanadyne, a global leader in the design and manufacture of high HP diesel and gasoline fuel systems launched EcoForce in India today. The NextGen diesel fuel pump has been developed by Stanadyne Amalgamation, a joint venture between U.S. based Stanadyn, and the Amalgamations group. EcoForce's next generation diesel fuel system will cater to the below 50 horsepower engine market. It will reduce particulate emissions by 50% while offering 8% higher fuel economy compared to other engines in the same category. Ecoforce is designed for farming, construction and industrial sectors.

Mi 4i Now On Open Sale For Rs 12,999

Mi India has announced Mi 4i is now available on open sale for Rs 12,999 on its website Mi.com, and its partners including Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, The Mobile Store and Airtel. 

Xiaomi Mi 4i was launched globally at a premiere in New Delhi in April this year. It has an anti-fingerprint soft touch matte cover and a 5-inch 1080p Full HD screen with sunlight display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor and 2GB RAM. The Mi4i sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. 

It packs in a decent 3120mAh battery which gives you 1.5 days of normal usage. Mi 4i is also Xiaomi’s first MIUI 6 device based on Android Lollipop.

OnePlus2: Launch Date, Specifications And Pricing

There’s this one mobile company that has been making major news since the last couple of months. Yeah, you guessed it right. It’s the OnePlus brand and for all the right reasons! OnePlus is going to unveil their flagship device on 27th July 2015. The estimated price is expected to be 450USD (Rs 28,550) which is  expensive when compared to the earlier OnePlus One device (currently, costing Rs 22,000 on Amazon). It seems like the silent competition meted out to tech giants such as Apple, Samsung, Sony and LG will force them to do a lot of thinking.

According to sources, the OnePlus 2 battery life will deliver 10 percent more backup time than its existing model OnePlus One. It is also expecting to come with a much better camera and will be backed up by a 3,300 mAh battery. The One Plus 2 will be smaller than OnePlus One and the screen display is expected to be 5.5-inch. 

The event will be streamed live globally on July 27, 2015 at 7pm PST (pacific time) which means Indian fans will be able to witness the launch at 7.30am on July 28. 

Carl Pei, co-founder wrote on blogpost, "A VR launch lets you stand right next to our team and our fans as we unveil our new flagship. You'll be able to look around as you check out the phone in a new way and maybe even find a few hidden Easter eggs."

There will be OnePlus 2 for the US market (with LTE bands 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 12 / 17) and one for Europe/rest of the world (with LTE bands 1 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 20). 

OnePlus said: "With the experiences we’ve gained with the One, we will be far more prepared to make the same transition with the OnePlus 2. Yes, the 2 will initially launch with invites. We’re committed to maintaining razor-thin margins in order to give as much value as possible back to our users, and this drastically increases our risk."

Lenovo along with Flipkart sold  47,440 units of the latest K3 Note smartphone in just 5.2 seconds. This was the first flash sale today which started at 3:00 PM (IST). The  5.5-inch Full HD display K3 Note costs Rs 9,999. There were more than 5 lac registrations for the first flash sale. 

The Lenovo K3 Note sports a 13 MegaPixel auto-focus rear camera with dual led flash and a 5 Megapixel front camera.
