Mi India Slashes Price Of Redmi Note 4G, now available for Rs 7,999

Mi has received price-cut on Redmi Note 4G and is available Rs 2,000 less than its original price for Rs 7,999. Redmi Note 4G first went on sale in India in December 2014.

Samsung Launches Two Mid-Segment Galaxy Tablets

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. today announced the launch of two stylish mid-segment tablets-Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E in India. Galaxy Tab A ensures viewing experience with its 4:3 aspect ratio and adaptive display. Galaxy Tab A is 4G-LTE enabled and supports multiple frequency bands for both FDD and TDD modes. Lenovo launches the K3 Note Smartphone

Lenovo today launched the K3 Note budget smartphone in India at Rs 9999. The device has a 13.97 cms (5.5") full HD display (1920 x 1080). The K3 Note sports 13 MegaPixel auto-focus rear camera with Dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. 

It is coupled with a 64 bit Octa-Core CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz, backed by a 16coreARM MALI-T760 GPU and 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The dual sim smartphone has 16 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot which is expandable up to 32 GB. LG Launches 5.5" QHD Display G4 Smartphone for Rs 51,000

The heavy rains had brought Mumbai to a stand still but this did not halt LG in launching its feature-packed Smartphone, the LG G4. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan did the honors of unveiling the LG G4. 

The dual-sim G4 is a successor to the LG G3 smartphone. The LG G4 sports a 16MP camera with F1.8 aperture lens which allows 80 percent more light to hit the image sensor than in the LG G3. OPPO India Launches Budget Smartphone Neo 5 For Rs 9,990

OPPO announced the launch of its budget phone, Neo 5 in the Indian market for Rs 9,990. The dual-sim Neo 5 sports 4.5inch IPS display with 480X854 pixels. The front screen is scratch-resistant Dragon trail glass and the rear cover is applied with special laminating, and the material used is the glass fiber which is military using class. 

It offers a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor with 1 GB RAM. The company claims the phone has a standby time of 180 hours. This Smartphone runs on Color OS 2.0.1i based on Android 4.4 powered by MediaTek MT6582. The Smartphone weighs 135gm and has 219 PPI. It has 8GB ROM which is expandable upto 32GB.

Dell has launched the "World's Thinnest Tablet" Venue 8 7000 tablet for Rs 34,999 in India. The 6.1mm tablet has an 8.4" OLED infinity edge-to-edge display (2560x1600). It is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3500 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. 

The Venue 8 7000 has 16GB of in-built memory (expandable up to 512GB via micro-sd card) and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 OS out of the box. OnePlus has announced an 'extended warranty' service for its smartphone users in India. All service related issues till date and henceforth pending for more than 15 working days at service centres will automatically get a 3 months extended warranty. This service will be applicable on the OnePlus One and all future smartphones.

Sony Xperia C4 'Selfie Smartphone' Launched For Rs 29,490

Sony India has launched its PROselfie smartphone, Xperia C4 for Rs 29,490. The phone sports a 5MP front facing camera with a Full HD display, 25mm wide angle lens and Sony’s Exmor RTM for mobile sensor while the rear camera is 13MP autofocus. It has a 5.5 inch Full HD display with IPS technology and scratch-resistant screen. Xperia C4 is compatible with Sony NFC-enabled devices including SmartBandTalk (SWR30).
  

The Xperia C4 is powered by 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6752 processor, 2GB of ram and is backed by 2,600mAh battery. Its in-built storage is 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB via micro-sd card. Xperia C4 weighs 147 grams and runs Android Lollipop out of the box. Connectivity features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, Micro-USB and NFC.

64GB Xiaomi Mi4 Smartphone Price Slashed, Available On Flipkart For Rs 19,999

Xiaomi India has slashed the price of its 64GB Mi4 effective today on Flipkart. It is now available Rs 4,000 less than the actual price for Rs 19,999 only. 

Mi4 had cut down its pricing in April and was available for Rs 17,999 (16GB model) and Rs 21,999 (64GB model) with both sporting Sony's stacked CMOS sensors. Flipkart is also offering the phone for as low as Rs 14,999 under exchange scheme.

The Xiaomi Mi4 has a 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels) and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 with the company's MIUI 6 skin on top. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera (both with f/1.8 aperture). The Mi4 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes packed with a 3080mAh Li-ion battery.

Gionee Unveils Elife E8 And Marathon M5 Smartphones At Beijing

Chinese company Gionee unveiled two smartphones at Beijing including its flagship model Elife E8 for 3999 RMB (Rs 41,300). The other model being Marathon M5 smartphone for 2299 RMB (Rs 23,700). The Gionee smartphones are well know in terms of camera features.

The Gionee E8 has a mammoth 6-inch Super Amoled screen (2560 x 1440 pixels) and sports 24 Megapixel rear camera which allows lossless Zoom up to 3X. The secondary camera is an 8 Megapixel camera. It is powered by 2GHz Mediatek MT6785 octa-core processor and comes with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 64GB in-built memory which can be extended via micro-sd slot. The dual-sim phone packs in a powerful 3520mAh battery. Fingerprint scanner and Dual speakers adds to its features. It runs Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box with company’s Amigo 3.1 software.

The second smartphone M5 sports a 5.5" HD Amoled display and 6020mAh battery. The smartphone actually has a pair of batteries, each 3,010mAh. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of in-built memory. It has a 13 MP camera on the back and 5 MP in the front. The company claims the batteries will last up to 4 days and boost standby time  to 62 hours with 5 percent battery life.

Both the smartphones have currently been announced for China only. The Marathon M5 will be available from June 25 and the Elife E8 will be available from July 15 onwards.

Canon Launches World’s Highest Resolution DSLR cameras In India: EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR

Canon has launched world's highest resolution DSLR cameras in India, the EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR. The company also introduced the XC10 4K professional compact Video Camera for 4K/Full HD video shooting and 12 Megapixel digital still photography.

The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR are equipped with a 50.6-megapixel 35mm, full-frame CMOS sensor processors which makes them the highest resolution DSLR cameras in Canon’s range. The EOS 5DS R features cancellation of its Optical Low Pass Filter (LPF) effect.

The EOS 5DS features a functional LPF, just like other DSLR cameras in the Canon lineup. The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R feature a new "Fine Detail" Picture Mode that allows configuring the sharpness level, thereby allowing for even more fine detail capture. To handle the ultrahigh pixel count, Canon has introduced a new cam-motor driven mirror mechanism to minimize mirror vibrations.
