Huawei has silently launched two new smartphones, Y3 II and Y5 II in its Y-series. These
smartphones are listed on the Huawei website, but the pricing has not be revealed yet.
Huawei Y3 II features a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and the Y5 II that comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both the devices run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS on top of EMUI 3.1. The Huawei Y3 II sports a 5 MP primary camera and 2 MP front facing camera. The Y5 II sports a much better 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. The Huawei Y3 II and Y5 II devices features 2,100 mAh and 2,200 mAh battery respectively.
The Huawei Y3 II and Y5 II comes in two variants, 3G and 4G and with different chips. The Y3 II 3G is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6582M SoC processor and the Y3 II 4G runs on 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M SoC processor. Huawei Y5 II 3G is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC processor and Y5 II 4G features 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC processor. The devices has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory (expandable memory).
The smartphones will be available in rose pink, sky blue, arctic white, obsidian black, and sand gold colour variants.
