Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities in his newest reports reveals that Apple will release the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this year. According to UDN and Tech News, KGI reported that Apple will only have two new iPhones this year. This means that there will not be an iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

The next models will have A9 chips, powered by 2GB of LPDDR4 memory and a 12 MP secondary camera. The handsets will also have a new feature introduced to the iPhones, called Force Touch. The next generation will feature harder sapphire glass. If Apple goes by its traditions, we can expect the iPhone 7 to launch in September 2015.
Specifications for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus:
Camera sensor bump to 12MP from the current 8MP snapper.
2GB of LPDDR4 RAM in both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models, which will be faster and more efficient than the previous DDR3 RAM used.
Inclusion of Force Touch, gesture control and an improved TouchID system.
There will be a rose gold facade colour to go with your rose gold Apple Watch.
