Microsoft has launched its Dual Sim budget smartphone, Lumia 540 at Rs 10,199.
The smartphone has a 5 inch HD (1280x720 pixels) IPS LCD display with pixel density of 294ppi. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera. The Lumia 540 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS which can be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile OS. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and packs in 1GB RAM. It has a 8GB in-built storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. 30GB of cloud storage comes bundled with it. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G network support.
The phone weighs 152gm and has a 2,200mAh removable battery. It will be available in glossy cyan, orange, white and matt black colour options. The phone will be available for pre-booking starting May 18.
