Gionee Launches Eight New Models with Full View Display

Gionee unveiled eight exciting new smartphones for China and global markets, each featuring a dazzling FullView display, making Gionee the first mobile phone manufacturer to offer this breakthrough technology on every product in its portfolio. New models are S11S, S11, S11 lite, M7 Plus, M7, M7 Power, M7 mini, and F205.

The company launched its new lineup at the Gionee Global Product Launch Event – Winter 2017, in Shenzhen, China, and attended by nearly 500 members of the local and international media, as well as special guests, including brand ambassador and celebrated actress Liu Tao and renowned portrait photographer Jesse.

During the event, Chairman Liu shared his insights about the smartphone industry, and affirmed that Gionee’s strategic use of FullView display on all of its models, not just its high-end models, puts the brand at the forefront of the technological breakthrough driving market growth.

To equip its latest models with FullView display, Gionee leveraged its vast R&D and manufacturing resources, extensive sales network, and strong supply chain integration. Gionee equipped the S11 with its four camera that include 16MP + 8MP dual camera in the front, 16MP + 5MP dual camera in the rear and real-time hardware-level bokeh that will recognize you as the object and blur the background, and upgraded beauty modes.

S11’s 5.99-inch, bezel-less FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio provides a more satisfying interface for watching videos, playing games, browsing the Internet, reading, taking and sharing beautiful photos.

The S11’s stylishly curved body shape perfectly fits in the hand, and is crafted using nine types of manufacturing innovations, including a 20-step sophisticated process, create a unique pattern, which combined by micron-level texture, with the width and density as small as 5μm, which let the body surface could reflect light with prismatic 3D effects.

Powered by an octa-core P23 processor, this high-end phone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Amigo 5.0 based on Android 7.1 with a battery capacity of 3410mAh.

Gionee equipped the S11S flagship of the S Series in China with its four camera that includes an impressive 20MP + 8MP fixed-focus dual camera in the front and 16MP + 8MP auto-focus dual camera in the rear – the best camera capability in Gionee’s portfolio. In addition, this flagship smartphone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite with 3GB RAM launched at Rs 12,999

Gionee has launched the Marathon M5 Lite for Rs 12,999 in India. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The Gionee Marathon M5 Lite device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 out of the box. It has an 32GB of inbuilt storage and is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. In terms of connectivity, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and MicroUSB.

The company claims that the device delivers up to 40 hours of talk time and 39 days of standby time. The smartphone houses a 4000mAh Li-Po battery and is available on the company online store. 

The Gionee Marathon M5 Lite was launched in China in December 2015 and had 16GB of inbuilt storage, 1GB RAM and was priced at CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,000). 

Gionee launches Marathon M5 Plus in China for 2,499 RMB (USD 385)

Gionee announced the launch of Marathon M5 Plus smartphone at an event held in China yesterday. The cost of the device is 2499 RMB (approx Rs 25,000 or 385USD) and will be on sale from December 25. The company has also stated that the Marathon M5 smartphone will come at a price of 1999 RMB (approx Rs 20,000 or 308USD). 

The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus smartphone features a big 6" AMOLED display full HD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution with 2.5D arc symmetrical design and gorilla glass.  In terms of camera, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM. 

The device has a 64GB internal memory and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microsd card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI out of the box. The M5 Plus smartphone houses a powerful 5020 mAh battery which can be fully charged in less than 2 hours according to Gionee. The launch date for India is not yet announced but expecting to be next month.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite launched for CNY 999 (Rs 10,000) in China

Gionee has launched  abudget Smartphone, Gionee Marathon M5 Lite in China for CNY 999. The smartphone features a 5" HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It sports a 8Megapixel rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. 

It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It has a inbuilt 16GB memory and is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Gionee Marathon M5 Lite comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Amigo 3.0 out of the box. In terms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and MicroUSB and housed a 4000mAh Li-Po battery. The company claims that the smartphone has 40 hours of talk time and 39 days of standby time.

Gionee Marathon M5 launched for Rs 17,999, houses a massive 6020mAh battery

Gionee Smartphones announced the arrival of its latest Marathon series marvel, the Marathon M5. It is powered by 6020 mAh Li- Po battery and the M5 device can standby upto 684 hr and 62 hours talk time. The company also claims that it has a standby time of upto 32 hours even if there is only 5% of power left. Whats more, the M5 is also capable of reverse charging – it can be used as a power bank to charge spare cell phones at the same time. 

The device has an ultra-slim structure of dimensions 8.5mm thick and outer rim of 4.75mm, metallic unibody, narrow bezel. The Gionee Marathon M5 is powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core 64 bit processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has a 5.5" HD AMOLED display screen. The 4G LTE enabled M5 supports Dual 4G SIMs, CDMA along with USB-OTG connectivity.  

The Marathon M5 runs on the advanced Amigo 3.1, based on Android 5.1 and a specially designed Music Player. The Gionee Marathon M5 has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and front facing 5MP camera. Gionee Marathon M5 comes in with an in-built 32 GB memory and is expandable upto 128 GB va micro-sd card.

Gionee adds 1GB and 3GB RAM variants to F103 smartphone

Gionee Smartphone has added 1GB and 3GB RAM variants to its F103 smartphone in India. The company claims that the series has already shipped 2,16,700 units so far. The Gionee F103 is powered with 1.3 GHz Quad Core. It features 12.7Cm (5.0) HD IPS Display and comes with Amigo 3.0, based on Android 5.0 OS. The Gionee F103 sports an 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 Megapixel camera. 

Commenting on the launch of the F series, Mr. Timir Baran Acharyya, GM, Gionee India said, "We have shipped almost 2,16,700 units from the time we have introduced the Fashion Series in the Indian market. Design, supported with features has become an essential element for consumers when they buy phones. With our F series, we have achieved to get both design and performance in one device, for our consumers get the best of both worlds. Hence, we have introduced two more variants for F103, i.e. in 1GB and 3GB RAM which will ensure an even superior experience for consumers, while keeping the style quotient intact."

The Gionee F103 device comes in with an in-built 16GB memory and now backed by two more variants i.e. 1GB and 3GB RAM. It has Dual SIM 4G supported and it is backed by a  2400 mAh battery. It is available in three colors - Pearl White, Dawn White and Black. The Gionee F103 is available in India at Rs 8,499 for 1GB, Rs 9,999 for 2GB and, Rs 10,999 for the 3GB variants.
