Gionee Launches Front Flash Smartphone S6s At Rs 17,999

Gionee has announced the launch of S6s, it’s first front flash smartphone in India at Rs 17,999. The device supports both 4G and VoLTE. The S6s will be available across India in colour variants of Mocha Gold and Latte Gold. It will also be available on Amazon which is also Gionee’s official online partner for S6s. 

The Gionee S6s features a 2.5D water-drop Corning Gorilla Glass with Native Damage Resistance. It has a (5.5-inch) IPS FHD display screen, powered by 3GB ram. The in-built memory is 32GB and is expandable up to 128GB.

It sports an impressive 8 MP Front Camera with Selfie Flash (High CRI) and finger print sensor. The pixel size of the front camera sensor is 1.4μm which can catch more light in the low-light conditions and make the picture much brighter. It is backed by a 13 MP rear camera with SONY IMX258 Sensor.

It has an operating system of Amigo 3.2 and Android Marshmallow 6.0 and houses a powerful 3150 mAh battery.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite with 3GB RAM launched at Rs 12,999

Gionee has launched the Marathon M5 Lite for Rs 12,999 in India. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The Gionee Marathon M5 Lite device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 out of the box. It has an 32GB of inbuilt storage and is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. In terms of connectivity, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and MicroUSB.

The company claims that the device delivers up to 40 hours of talk time and 39 days of standby time. The smartphone houses a 4000mAh Li-Po battery and is available on the company online store. 

The Gionee Marathon M5 Lite was launched in China in December 2015 and had 16GB of inbuilt storage, 1GB RAM and was priced at CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,000).
