Indian Mobile Handset Brand Intex Enters Spain

Intex Technologies forayed into the Spanish market in 2015 with the launch of its wearable device - iRist. The smart watch has been successfully embraced by the consumers ever since its launch. And now the company will soon be launching its 3G & 4G smartphones in Spain.




To give more choices to the Indian and global mobile ecosystem currently dominated by android and iOS platforms, Intex Technologies has this year announced its association with CYANOGEN (US-based mobile OS firm) for incorporating the OS in its portfolio.

Bringing latest tech innovations at affordable prices, Intex, this year at the Barcelona MWC event raised the bar higher with the launch of a range of consumer friendly wearable products and innovative smartphones.

In the wearable segment, Intex showcased its kids smart watch named iRist Junior, a wristwatch for kids to enjoy with parental guidance features like geo-fencing, calls and other security features. It also show cased Fitrist, a smart band, which will be a partner and guide for healthy living. The company also launched iRist Pro, the bluetooth smart watch. iRist Pro is bluetooth enabled without a SIM slot showing all kinds of notifications from the smart phone. It also syncs contacts and call logs of the smart phone making it easy for the user to receive/answer calls.

In the smartphone category, Intex launched Aqua ACE II, a 4G/LTE-enabled and 3GB RAM smart phone engineered to multi-task as a Pro. The smart phone comes with a fully customised version of Android OS named IDMOS. The customised OS gives a completely revamped look and feel to the interface and user features. It also has a MHL Cable, which will project everything on the device onto the TV screen, thereby giving users the Big Screen Experience.
