Flipkart announces ‘Spotlist’ service

Flipkart has announced the launch of ‘Spotlist’, unique cataloguing and listing service from Flipkart that will empower sellers – including SMEs, artisans and other businesses across the country. Spotlist enables sellers to avail of these processes conveniently at their premises.



A one-of-a-kind initiative, Spotlist aims to provide sellers with the infrastructure and training that are vital to improving their visibility and competitiveness on Flipkart’s e-commerce platform. Spotlist enables sellers to catalogue their selection in the shortest possible time.

How Spotlist works:

Cataloguing partners will travel via Spotlist-branded vans/bikes to seller locations
Vehicles will be equipped with the necessary cataloguing tools and technologies
Spotlist technicians will help sellers to list their products instantly following the shoot

Since November last year, this initiative has been launched in five key metros - Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. So far, over 1000 sellers across categories have availed of this service and close to 10,000 products have been catalogued. ­­

Spotlist also extends the benefits to other functions within the e-commerce ecosystem. For instance, freelance wedding and party photographers may register with Flipkart as cataloguing partners and open a new revenue stream for themselves.
