BlackBerry has launched its first ever Android OS device, Priv at Rs 62,990. The BlackBerry Priv will be available from January 30 across India.
BlackBerry Priv has got an extra layer of security on this smartphone. It will come with the BlackBerry DTEK, which scan every single app and the permissions it is taking from the user.
It features a 5.4-inch WQHD (2560×1440) display with AMOLED resolution, and is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has an inbuilt 32GB internal memory (and is expandable up to 2TB). The single SIM 4G device runs on Android Lollipop OS. It sports a 18MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It houses in a powerful 3,410 mAh battery.
Customers will be able to buy their very own PRIV from BlackBerry authorised partners & resellers, and from Amazon.in, an online partner of BlackBerry India.
