Mi India launches Redmi Note Prime for Rs 8,499

Mi India has announced the launch of its second ‘Made in India’ smartphone, Redmi Note Prime. The budget msratphone will be available for Rs. 8,499 exclusively on Amazon.in and Mi.com, starting 10.00am on 15th December 2015.



Xiaomi had earlier announced in August that it would manufacture its devices locally in India. The company kicked off its ‘Make in India’ plans with the launch of its first smartphone manufactured in India, Redmi 2 Prime.

Redmi Note Prime is the second Mi phone to be manufactured in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group. Redmi Note Prime is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G with dual SIM slots, 2GB RAM, 16GB in-built memory (expandable up to 32GB). It features a 5.5" HD IPS display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor.
