World's Slimmest Tablet 'Dell Venue 8 7000' Launched For Rs 34,999

Dell has launched the "World's Thinnest Tablet" Venue 8 7000 tablet for Rs 34,999 in India. The 6.1mm tablet has an 8.4" OLED infinity edge-to-edge display (2560x1600). It is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3500 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. 

The Venue 8 7000 has 16GB of in-built memory (expandable up to 512GB via micro-sd card) and runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 OS out of the box. It has a Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera, which captures a depth map for every picture taken. In terms of connectivity, it has wi-fi, bluetooth, Microusb 2.0.

Mr. P. In addition to the tablet, Dell also launched the XPS 13, Alienware 15/17 and Dell Inspiron 5000 notebooks. The Inspiron 5000 Series (Inspiron 15) will be available at a starting price of Rs 39,990, inclusive of 2 year at home (on-site) warranty. The Alienware 15 and 17 will be available for Rs 1,25,990 and Rs 1,45,990 respectively. The XPS 13 will be available at a starting price of Rs 70,990.
