Samsung Launches Two Mid-Segment Galaxy Tablets

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. today announced the launch of two stylish mid-segment tablets-Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E in India. Galaxy Tab A ensures viewing experience with its 4:3 aspect ratio and adaptive display. Galaxy Tab A is 4G-LTE enabled and supports multiple frequency bands for both FDD and TDD modes. The Galaxy Tab E is a sleek android tablet with 9.6-inch screen size. Both the tablets support voice-calling capability. At 7.5mm, the Tab A is thin and weighs only 320 grams while the Galaxy Tab E is 8.5mm slim and weighs 495 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Tab B

The Galaxy Tab E with a 9.6 inch screen and 16:10 ratio is made for consumption of multimedia content. Galaxy Tab E features ‘Kids Mode’, which offers content that motivates children to use the tablet to explore, create and have fun. The kids-friendly GUI ensures apps are simplified and intuitive for the child. Both tablets incorporate expandable memory up to 128GB, which allows users for backup and sharing. The new UX in both Tab A and Tab E has been upgraded for better usability.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A is priced at Rs 20,500.Galaxy gifts worth INR 30,000 are offered across genres such as Entertainment, eBooks, Lifestyle, Utility Apps with Galaxy Tab A in India. Airtel will also be offering 2GB data free for 2 months on its 4G network to Tab A consumers. Galaxy Tab E is priced at Rs 16,900 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Vodafone will be offering free 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months for post-paid consumers and 1GB of 3G data free on purchase of 1GB by a prepaid consumer for 2 months. Galaxy Tab Awill be available in Smoky Titanium and White colors and Galaxy Tab E will be available in Metallic Black and Pearl White colors across India.
