OPPO Launches F1s Smartphone At Rs 17,990

OPPO has announced the launch of the upgraded ‘Selfie Expert’ – OPPO F1s, at an event held in Mumbai. The F1s also sports a 5.5-inch screen and has a  0.22s fingerprint reader.

The F1s features a 16 MP front camera with a 1/3.1-inch sensor, providing high dynamic range and minimizing noise. The F1s is a personalized selfie expert with the latest beautification feature - Beautify 4.0.

It is powered by Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The triple-slot card tray, yes you heard it right, gives space for two Nano 4G SIM cards and an SD card to expand the storage space by up to 128 GB. The F1s houses a decent 3075 mAh battery and is backed with ColorOS 3.0’s power-saving optimizations.

The device costs only Rs 17,990 and company will begin the first sale of the F1s from 11th-13th August in numerous stores in India. Consumers can also buy the products online on Amazon.in starting 11th August.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Launched In India

Xiaomi launched its new Redmi 3S smartphone in India. The company also launched the Redmi 3S Prime model. 

The Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime sporst a 5-inch HD IPS display and run on MIUI 7.5 based on Android Marshmallow. Both phones feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and full HD 1080p video recording. The smartphones has a 5 MP front facing camera also with 1080p video recording feature. The Redmi 3S has a 2GB of RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage and the Redmi 3S Prime has 3GB of RAM and 32GB  inbuilt storage. Both smartphones storage can be extended up to 128GB via micro-sd card.

The dual-SIM phones (Micro + Nano) come with hybrid SIM slots. The Redmi 3S Prime features a fingerprint scanner at the back panel. Both devices is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.1GHz with Adreno 505 GPU.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime has been priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively. Both models will be initiallynd will be available on Mi.com and Flipkart. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime will go on sale ON August 9 and the Redmi 3S model a week later.

Freecharge Partners With PayUbiz

Lenovo Launches New Vibe K5 Note, Will Be Available On Flipkart

Lenovo has launched the Vibe K5 Note and will be available on Flipkart. It will go on sale on August 3. The Vibe K5 Note will be available in two variants. The 4GB enabled smartphone is priced at Rs 13,499 and the 3GB variant at Rs 11,499. 

Lenovo has also launched a TheaterMax Bluetooth controller priced at Rs 999 and is bundling the ANT VR headset and controller together. The GamePad and VR headset can be bought together at Rs 1,999. 

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features a metal unibody design and has a 5.5 inch full HD display with 401 ppi. It has a fingerprint scanner on the back and weighs 165 grams.

The Vibe K5 Note is powered by a MediaTek 6755 octa-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will come in two RAM variants, 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The in-built storage of the device is a decent 32GB and can be extended to 128gb via micro-SD card support.

Android Nougat Will be Releasing On Aug 5

According to sources, Google will be officially rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat on Aug 5. All compatible Nexus devices will get update except Nexus 5.

Nexus will remain out of the update loop as Google will proceed to launch the next generation of Nexus handsets later this month.

The new OS update will bring several new apps including a new Camera App which will bring several new features and more manual control of the camera.

Panasonic India today launched a dual 2.5D curved glass and metal body smartphone, the ELUGA Arc2 at a best buy price of Rs 12,290. 

The ELUGA Arc2 comes with 7.6mm thin metal moulded body made with aircraft grade aluminium alloy using CNC technology. The Front & Back are finished with 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass for an elegant look, and is scratch resistance. The device is lightweight at only 147 gm.
