Overcart.com will host a flash-sale of 16GB, dual-sim smartphone OnePlus X on 15th February, Monday at 2pm onwards until the stock lasts. The registrations for the sale are now live at http://www.overcart.com/oneplusx. Customers can register in advance to receive updates leading up to the sale.
The smartphone comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera with advanced sensors. The OnePlus X is equipped with a 64 – bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1. OnePlus as promised last week has announced that its OnePlus X smartphone will be available without invites every Tuesday. Oneplus confirmed the news in a tweet unfortunately the open sale on every Tuesday doesn't apply to Indian consumers, who require a country specific invite. OnePlus earlier had one day open sale to buy the OnePlus X smartphone without an invite in India.
The tweet on OnePlus said, "Do your happy dance - the #OnePlusX is now invite-free every Tuesday! Starts tomorrow."
The OnePlus X sports a 5" full-HD 1080 display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has an 16GB storage and is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 8 Megapixel front facing camera. The dual sm handset houses a 2525mAh non-removable battery. The handset with the Onyx variant is priced at Rs. 16,999.

OnePlus has announced that one can buy its Flagship device OnePlus 2 without any invite from now on. The company stated on the blog, "Speaking of cheer, we’re ringing in the holiday spirit by making it much simpler to give the gift of OnePlus this year. Starting at midnight on December 5, not only will the OnePlus 2 will be invite-free forever… we’re also making the OnePlus X invite-free all day December 5-7.
The company is also selling the OnePlus 2 StyleSwap covers at 50 percent off while select OnePlus One accessories at 90 percent discount. The excitement doesn't end here. A limited number of first orders will receive an exclusive Never Settle mousepad as a special holiday gift.

For the OnePlus One, Cyanogen OS will be updated to Marshmallow by the first quarter of 2016. OnePlus will be updating the community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus One when time allows.
The OnePlus 2 will also be updated in Quarter 1, and the update will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor. OnePlus says that they have received requests for creating an API for the current fingerprint implementation in OxygenOS, but have decided against it since they’re switching over to the standard Android M implementation soon.
OnePlus has been working hard to bring Marshmallow as soon as possible to the OnePlus X, and will have an update on a time frame at a later time. Meanwhile, OnePlus will keep rolling out updates as soon as possible for OxygenOS!
