Asus Launches New Zenfone Max At Rs.9,999

ASUS today launched the new Zenfone Max in India. The smartphone features a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with full-screen lamination and ASUS TruVivid technology. 
The new ZenFone Max sports a 13 Megapixel, f/2.0-aperture rear camera with the ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 technology and dual-LED flash. It also features Laser Auto Focus technology that helps focus on an object in 0.03 seconds. ZenFone Max’s front camera is a 5 Megapixel, f/2.0-aperture camera for selfies.




The new Zenfone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor and provides an option to opt for a 2GB or 3GB RAM. The internal memory of the phone has now been increased to 32GB, in addition to an expandable memory of up to 64GB. 

The device houses a powerful 5000mAh battery and is also capable of being a power bank for other gadgets. The new Zenfone Max boasts of an extremely thin body that measures only 5.2 mm. The company claims that it has 914.4 hours of standby time or 37.5 hours of 3G talk time. It is backed by the latest Android M 6.0.1 OS and ASUS ZenUI.

The Zenfone Max with 2GB RAM costs Rs. 9,999 and can be pre-ordered on Flipkart while Zenfone Max with 3GB RAM is available for Rs. 12,999 and can be purchased from Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart. 

The 3GB RAM variant will also be available at ASUS Exclusive stores and all other retail stores across India, at a later date. The handset will be available in three interesting colours – black, orange and blue. We have received the handset for review. Stay tuned.

ASUS announces ZenFone Max at Rs 9999, packs in a powerful 5000 mAH battery

ASUS today confirmed the availability of ZenFone Max in India at Rs 9999. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 5000 mAH battery. The device will be available on all leading e-commerce portals, retail stores and ASUS Stores.



The company claims that a fully charged battery provides 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or 72.9 hours of music or 22.6 hours of video playback. The smartphone also works as a power bank to keep all other devices charged up as well. The ZenFone Max comes with a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front PixelMaster Camera and f/2.0-aperture lens. The ZenFone Max’s rear camera also has laser auto-focus technology for the fastest possible clarity.

The dual sim device has a 5.2 mm thin body and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-Core processor with 2 GB RAM. It has a 16GB internal memory with an optional expandable memory of 64GB. The phone’s brand new ZenUI has more various features to improve upon the standard Android interface.
