GoPro, Inc. announces the launch of GoPro Plus, a cloud-based subscription service in India. GoPro Plus gives users anywhere, anytime access to their GoPro content. People can automatically upload their content to GoPro Plus directly from their HERO5 cameras through the Auto Upload feature or for older HERO cameras, through the Quik Desktop app. GoPro is offering a free 30-day trial of GoPro Plus, with subscriptions thereafter costing Rs. 350 per month.
“Our goal is to make products that enable people to capture experiences and create engaging stories to share with their friends and family,” says CJ Prober, Chief Operating Officer for GoPro. “The experience we’ve created with our mobile apps makes creating videos fun, simple and fast. And now with GoPro Plus, we are giving our consumers the ability to create videos whenever and from wherever they want, right from their mobile phone”.
The new GoPro Plus account helps you store and give access to the GoPro photos and videos once uploaded through the Quik app.
