Micromax, one of the leading electronics company in India has announced the launch of its new tablet, the Canvas Tab P680. Priced at Rs. 9,499 the 8" full HD (1920x1080) Canvas tablet comes with a WXGA IPS display with anti-glare coating and in-built dual box speakers.
Speaking on the launch, Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics, said, "Our new range of Canvas Tabs has helped us grow to become a leading player in the tablet category. With the launch of this new tablet model P680, users will get the best immersive audio and video experience, giving them a full- fledged entertainment sojourn."
It runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 OS and is powered by 1.3Ghz Quad Core Processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. The P680 Tab has an inbuilt storage capacity of 16 GB and is expandable up to 32GB via micro-sd card. It sports a 5MP Auto Focus rear camera with flash and a 2MP FF front camera. The tab comes packed with a decent 4000 mAh marathon battery.
