Samsung today announced the launch of Samsung Z3, a Tizen-based smartphone for Rs 8490. The Samsung Z3 comes pre-loaded with a highly personalised music streaming experience. With integration of Mix Radio on Samsung Z3, consumers will have access to thousands of curated mixes from a catalogue of over 30 million songs. This includes extensive local catalogue of 12 Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bangla, Odiya and Marathi.
Samsung Z3 features the newly introduced ‘Ultra Data Saving’ mode, providing data compression and app management capabilities resulting in up to 40% mobile data savings and up to 50% longer standby time. The Samsung Z3 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered with Samsung’s advanced Super AMOLED technology delivers 40% more colour and 100 times better contrast ratio versus normal TFT LCDs. The device is equipped with an 8 megapixel rear camera with a F2.2 aperture and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. It houses in a 2600mAh battery.
The device is 7.9 mm slim and is available in three brilliant colour variants, Gold, Black and Silver. In the online space, it’ll be available exclusively on Snapdeal.
Users will get up to 1GB of data free per month for two months on Vodafone networks allowing them to download and surf at will; making the fullest use of their Z3 Smartphone.
