Samsung has launched its flagship Galaxy Note 5 in India starting at Rs 53,900. The Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super Amoled display screen and runs on Android 5.1 lollipop pot of the box. The smartphone boasts of 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera.
The Galaxy Note 5 also feature 4K (UHD) video filming and Live Broadcast, which lets users instantly live stream Full HD video straight from the phone to any individual, group of contacts, or even the public through YouTube Live. The Galaxy Note 5 has an advanced camera system, including Quick Launch (double click the home button to launch the camera in less than a second), Auto Real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Smart Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and brand-new filters.
The device includes the all new S-Pen. Users can now note down ideas or information when the screen is off without even unlocking the phone.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The Galaxy Note 5 packs in a 3,000 mAh battery complemented by Samsung’s fast wired and wireless charging technology. The company claims that the handset can be charged in 90 minutes with wired charging, and through Samsung’s latest wireless charger, it can be fully charged in approximately 120 minutes.
The handset is equipped with enhanced security features like KNOX Active Protection (built into devices/out of the box) and My KNOX (app with simple/fast set up) to further protect sensitive personal and work data. The Galaxy Note 5 will be available in the Indian markets from September 20 for Rs 53,900 for the 32 GB memory variant and Rs 59,900 for the 64 GB variant. The smartphone will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colours.
