Yu Yuphoria Launched For Rs 6999

Micromax’s sub brand Yu has launched the all new Yuphoria, a Cyanogen-based smartphone for Rs.6999. It has a classy metal body and a high quality anti-finger coating protecting the metal ring.

The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1080 pixels resolution and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams. The device sports an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. For audio, it gets Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo chip. It has 16GB inbuilt storage and packs in a 2230mAh battery. The dual SIM handset also supports Bluetooth and 4G LTE. It runs Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12. It will be available in steel with Buffed black and Champagne gold with white.

The smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon and users can register from 5 PM today. The sale will begin from May 28.

The brand also announced its wristband connected devices segment with the launch of Yufit and HealthYu.
