NVIDIA Unveils The GeForce GTX 1060

NVIDIA today added the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 to its family of gaming GPUs, complementing the GTX 1080 and 1070.

Manufactured on the leading-edge FinFET 16nm process, the GTX 1060 delivers GTX 980-level performance and twice the energy efficiency in VR. It consumes only 120 watts of power while driving the latest VR and DirectX 11/12 PC games at blistering speeds.

The GTX 1060 features 1,280 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8Gbps and a boost clock of 1.7GHz, which can be easily overclocked to 2GHz for further performance. The GTX 1060 supports NVIDIA VRWorks, a software developer kit that allows developers to intertwine what users feel with the physical behavior of the environment.

Included with VRWorks is NVIDIA Simultaneous Multi-Projection technology, which allows the GTX 1060 to seamlessly project a single image simultaneously to both eyes, yielding a 3x VR graphics performance improvement over previous generation GPUs.

The GTX 1060 also supports NVIDIA Ansel technology, a powerful game-capture tool that allows gamers to explore, capture and share the artistry of gaming. Gamers will be able to experience Ansel for themselves with Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst next week, and Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, later this month.

Nvidia Inno3D Introduces Two New GeForce GTX 1080 Graphics Card Series

Innovision Multimedia Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-end hardware components and computer utilities has introduced its new line of Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards. The new flagship card will be made available in India by its authorized distributor Abacus Peripherals. The new cards will be available in both GamingOC as well as iChiLL editions.

The GeForce GTX 1080 builds on NVIDIA's new Pascal architecture, where performance reaches unknown territories and provides the user unprecedented performance, power efficiency, and gaming experiences. 

The new, and recently introduced, iChiLL X3 and X4 cooling solutions even improve the overall temperature control and come equipped with the Herculez cooling armor. As a result, the Inno3D GTX 1080 products will be capable to run at even higher clocks, fully optimizing the 2560 Cuda cores inside the GPU without losing grip on heat production.

Noise levels will reduce to a minimum thanks to the new and improved fan blade designs and find the perfect balance between performance, sound and silence. The brand new GTX 1080 series will be on display at the Computex show, held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 31st ~ June 4th
