Gionee has added another smartphone to its S Series, S Plus exclusively for its Indian consumers.
The S Plus for the first time introduces USB Type C with fast charging, 3D vibration mode, Rumble effect. The S Plus comes with a 38* double cabochon and 8.2mm R angle ergonomics designed battery cover.
The Gionee S Plus is powered by 64-bit MT6753 processor, featuring 4G LTE and 1.3 GHz Octa Core. It has a 13.97cm(5.5") HD AMOLED Display with gorilla glass 3rd generation and runs on Amigo 3.1, based on Android 5.1.
It sports a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 MP camera for selfies. The Rumble effect in camera zooming comes into the picture as it will excite anyone and its face beauty feature.
Commenting on the launch of the Fashion series Mr. Timir Baran Acharyya, GM, Gionee India said, "In today’s fast paced time, the consumer needs and desires are evolving and they don’t want to compromise on the looks nor the specs of the device. Hence to bridge in the gap, we have introduced the all new S Plus especially in India this Diwali to meet all the expectations that our consumers are asking for. In fact, the all new S Plus is equipped with new features like Face Unlock that would help consumers unlock there device in less than a second".
The phone has a 16GB inbuilt memory storage coupled with 3GB RAM. The S Plus has a dual sim and is backed by a decent 3150mAh battery. It is available in three magnificent colors, Dark Blue, White and Golden. The Gionee S Plus will be available in India at Rs 16,999 starting November first week.
