Adult video website Pornhub will soon launch a new AI-powered model that will monitor the clips which are being uploaded online and automatically generate tags based on names and features.
Pornhub states that the algorithm has been trained to recognize over 10,000 pornstars by scanning and interpreting footage. The website is also asking users to validate whether the tags and labels which have been provided by the AI model are correct.
Apart from identifying the name of a pornstar, the software will also be capable of identifying the type of hair on an actor - blonde or brunette. Eventually, the AI will be able to identify individual categories - redhead. It will also be able to understand the nature of video content, which means, the kind of sexual act it contains, such as threesome.
The company’s plan at the moment is to have the program scan all of its 5 million odd videos “within the next year”.
