One of India’s leading mobile player in Indian market, Micromax has launched the Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 smartphones.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics, said, "With over 93 million selfies being captured every day, people today take and retake pictures of themselves until it mirrors perfection and what they want the world to see them as. Keeping this in mind, we have created our Canvas Selfie range which has received tremendous response from our young consumers with Canvas Selfie. Canvas Selfie 2: The Canvas Selfie 2 sports a 5MP front facing Camera and a 5MP rear Camera. It has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display screen and runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 OS. It is priced at Rs 5,999 and will be available across all stores from August 22nd, 2015.
Canvas Selfie 3: The Canvas Selfie 3 comes with a Bluetooth enabled Selfie stick. It is equipped with an 8MP front camera with blue glasses 5P Largan Lens and an 8MP rear camera. It has a 4.8 inch HD Amoled display and is powered by 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor coupled with 1GB DDR2 RAM. The Canvas Selfie 3 will be available in five colors, Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow apt. The android version and the price has not been mentioned yet.
