Panasonic Introduces GH5S, World’s First Cinema 4K Video Recording Camera

Panasonic India today moved a step further in the video recording space with the introduction of its LUMIX GH5S - the world’s first high precision cinema 4K recording camera designed specifically for low light scenarios.

As a camera that excels in low-light shooting, the LUMIX GH5S features 5EV luminance detection performance with Low Light AF that aids in higher sensitivity and optimized tuning of the sensor. It is further powered with a LiveView Boost feature that makes it possible to check the composition even in total darkness by boosting the sensitivity just for Live view. The camera has been designed specifically for professional filmmakers such as cinematographers, documentary makers, wedding users  and YouTubers.

Packed with astounding features to satisfy the evolving needs of videographers, the newly developed 10.2-megapixel Digital MOS Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology and Venus Engine 10 faithfully reproduces even dark parts of the image, allowing ISO 51200 high sensitivity recording when the use of supplemental lighting may not be possible as well as an extended ISO of up to 204,800.

To further elevate the video expression, GH5S also comes with a Variable Frame Rate Effect (VFR) which allows users to record slow motions and time lapse videos seamlessly in 60 FPS and 240 FPS format, alike. The camera also comes pre-installed with a V logL feature, so users don’t have to purchase a software upgrade key separately.

Keeping in mind the outdoor needs of our consumers, the GH5S has been composed of a magnesium alloy full die-cast front, rear and top frame that is not only splash-proof and dust-proof but also freeze-proof down to -10 degrees Celsius which is tough enough to withstand heavy field use.

With these immense capabilities complimented by a sturdy body, the GH5S is an extremely imperative tool for videography professionals who demand high end low light video quality. The camera will be available at all Panasonic stores across the country at a price of INR 184,990/-.
